Bede's Trust requires a proactive and engaging individual to join the Sports Department as a Sports Complex Assistant on a casual contract. Sport plays an important part in the life of the School and we encourage all our pupils to develop their physical fitness. Our core sports are Cricket, Football, Hockey, Netball, Swimming and Tennis. Our facilities are exceptional with a twin sports hall, numerous grass pitches, squash courts, outdoor tennis and netball courts, fitness studio, a competition-sized indoor pool, as well as floodlit water based astro-turf. An ability to coach some of the above sports is extremely desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the running of the Sports Complex Facility (Astro, Gym, Swimming Pool and Sports Hall).
  • Act as Front of House for Sports Events and Fixtures.
  • Provide administrative support as required.

Essential Availability

  • At least three days per week, one of which must be Saturday.
  • Monday – Thursday: 13:00 – 17:00.
  • Saturday: 09:00 – 13:00.

Potential Hours on Offer

  • Monday 14:00 – 22:15
  • Tuesday 13:00 – 22:00
  • Thursday 13:00 – 20:30
  • Friday 13:00 – 21:30
  • Saturday and Sunday 10:00 – 18:00
