Bede's Trust requires a supportive and engaging individual to join the Performing Arts / Drama Department as a LAMDA Teacher at our Prep School starting from or soon after September 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality LAMDA teaching and examinations, using strong subject and curriculum knowledge to plan and teach engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire pupils to develop confidence, communication and performance skills.
They will foster a love of the subject and its related disciplines, setting high expectations to motivate and challenge pupils while adapting teaching to meet the strengths, needs and abilities of all learners. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who will make effective and innovative use of IT to support learning, communication, collaboration, assessment, and pupil progress tracking.
They will contribute to Bede's Vision, Aims, and Mission, maintain consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct, and remain committed to ongoing professional development to ensure excellent teaching and outcomes for all pupils. This is a permanent position working within term time from Monday - Friday; exact working hours and schedule can be discussed at interview to ensure a great fit for both your availability and our timetable.
