About This Role Emmanuel College has an exciting secondment opportunity for an experienced and talented senior leader to experience our vibrant and high‑performing school community on a secondment basis. We are seeking someone with an unswerving commitment to raising standards across all areas of the school for all groups of students.
You should be able to deliver on the full brief of a Vice Principal, but we are looking for a candidate with a strong background in, or passion for, inclusion, behaviour and attendance. Your role will require ensuring that our provision and support meets the needs of all students and helps them truly flourish, including those who are the most vulnerable in our community.
You must be able to clearly evidence the impact you have had as a senior leader in shaping whole‑school culture, and in the strategic work you have shaped, whether it involves developing inclusive provision, improving student behaviour and attendance or raising students’ holistic achievement.
You will be excited to be part of a school that is ambitious about being ‘exceptional’ in all areas of the Ofsted framework, and you should be especially passionate about ensuring exceptionality in your key areas of responsibility.
Successful candidates will have responsibility for a number of key strategic whole‑school areas as well as being required to effectively carry out the full range of day‑to‑day operational duties. You should be able to build positive relationships with students and enjoy working alongside them and their families to ensure that they thrive and achieve. You will genuinely revel in working with young people.
