- Lead and inspire the PE department, promoting high standards of teaching, learning and achievement.
- Drive student participation and excellence across curricular and extracurricular sport.
- Support and develop colleagues through effective leadership, coaching and professional development.
- Monitor student progress and use data effectively to improve outcomes.
- Lead on departmental planning, assessment and quality assurance.
- Promote a positive culture of physical activity, wellbeing, teamwork and healthy competition.
- Contribute positively to the wider life and strategic development of the school.
