Bede Academy is an all-through school in Blyth, Northumberland and operates across two sites, one Primary and one Secondary, rated as Good by Ofsted. It is a Christian-Ethos School of Character for the Whole Community.

We are seeking the right person to provide outstanding leadership and management for the 3-form entry primary phase of this very special school where everyone is Valued, Challenged and Inspired. The post-holder will embed our vibrant, celebratory, and inclusive Christian ethos which runs as a “golden-thread” through the curriculum, our approach to behaviour management and personal development, and in our dealings with parents and the wider community – many of whom may not be Christians themselves.

The post holder will play a major role under the direction of the Head of School (and alongside other senior leaders) in delivering the aims and objectives of the Academy, upholding our leadership expectations, and leading inclusion, SEND and safeguarding across the primary phase of a three form entry school. To ensure there are effective and robust systems that support the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all learners, particularly the most vulnerable.
