Overview About This Role: You will lead plans to support students with special educational needs and disabilities who experience barriers to learning due to sensory and/or physical needs, by assessing student needs and identifying appropriate support for students and parents/carers. You will particularly focus on leading and managing provision for students with Sensory and Physical needs, including close liaison with external professionals. This role involves working closely with SEND leadership, the Sensory Support Service, parents/carers and wider staff to ensure students’ sensory and physical needs are met effectively within the mainstream environment.

We Are Looking For a Team Member who is a people person; effective listener; can communicate effectively with students and families; competent in dealing with parental queries and the handling of sensitive information; be able to maintain an atmosphere of calm control in an emergency situation. We have high expectations for our students as they grow and develop and all our staff provide important role models to them in terms of positive attitude, work ethic and diligence.
