Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated individuals with excellent cleaning skills to join our Domestic Cleaning Team at Bedales School, a unique educational establishment set in the Hampshire countryside. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness in various areas around the school and boarding houses, supporting onsite operations, and ensuring a hygienic environment for staff and pupils.

Responsibilities include:

• Ordering cleaning supplies
• Supporting onsite cleaning operations
• Cleaning designated areas as per shift requirements
• Disinfecting surfaces
• Vacuuming and mopping floors
• Emptying bins
• Laundry duties during the day
• Cleaning touch points to maintain hygiene

Full induction training will be provided, along with ongoing support from the onsite teams. Not all duties are required at all times; duties will be based on your shift pattern.

Working Hours:

This role operates year-round, including during term time and school holidays. You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 15:30, with breaks at approximately 8:45 am and 11:50 am. Additionally, you will work at least one Saturday every four weeks, from 07:00 to 11:00, with adjusted hours on Wednesdays when working Saturday.
