Bedales, one of the UK's most innovative schools and a not-for-profit charity guided by its founding ethos – work for the welfare of all – is seeking a Head of Marketing & Engagement to lead marketing across Bedales Senior, Prep and Pre-prep. This strategic and hands-on role will shape national and international student recruitment, generate prospective student leads, and champion Bedales’ reputation through community engagement. We seek a creative, collaborative marketer with expertise in formulating strategy, excellent communication skills and the ability to balance vision with delivery. You’ll be confident in digital marketing, planning events and building strong relationships across diverse audiences. Experience with a premium or mission-led brand will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop admissions marketing strategies
  • Oversee campaigns, international recruitment and admissions events
  • Build advocacy networks
  • Work collaboratively with External Relations colleagues and the Heads and deputies

Experience & Background

Proven experience in marketing, ideally within education or premium purpose-driven organisations, with digital expertise, event-planning skills and the ability to build strong relationships and inspire colleagues and stakeholders. This post is Regulated Activity.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week throughout the year, occasionally working flexibly with some evening and weekend work required, for which time off in lieu will be offered.
