About the Role

The Product Manager is the operational owner of BD’s Hospital Automation (HA) portfolio within the broader Connected Medication Management (CMM) framework across Northern Europe, supporting Pyxis, Pyxis Pro, PIC, PAS, ROWA platforms, and associated interoperability layers. The role delivers portfolio execution, product lifecycle coordination, launch excellence, digital integration readiness, commercial enablement, and customer success across UK, Ireland, Nordics & Baltics (Northern Europe). It reports directly to the Marketing Manager, Hospital Automation Northern Europe, following the strategic direction set by the Senior Marketing Manager, MMS Northern Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Knowledge & Strategic CMM Narrative Ownership: Act as Northern Europe portfolio expert for Hospital Automation within the Connected Medication Management (CMM) strategy, owning and articulating the CMM value narrative and enabling commercial, clinical and service teams with clear portfolio messaging.
  • Portfolio Lifecycle & Communication Coordination: Coordinate portfolio lifecycle activities (launches, phase‑ins/outs, transitions) aligned with global and regional strategy, ensuring operational readiness and timely communication across all Northern Europe markets and monitoring performance.
  • Strategy Enablement & CMM Narrative Leadership: Translate Hospital Automation and CMM strategy into country‑level execution plans, lead positioning and campaign execution, track KPI execution and identify risks or gaps.
  • Market & Competitive Insight: Maintain market and competitor intelligence, capture and synthesize voice‑of‑customer insights, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Go‑To‑Market Execution: Lead launch readiness, enablement and tender support for the Hospital Automation portfolio, orchestrating omnichannel campaigns aligned to the CMM narrative and compliance requirements.
  • Interoperability & Evidence Facilitation: Support and project manage interoperability initiatives and pilot programmes, develop case studies and evidence playbooks.
  • Commercial & Customer Excellence: Partner with commercial teams on pipeline, forecasts and deal support, championing post‑installation excellence with service and customer success teams.
  • Governance & Stakeholder Management: Act as key coordination point between Northern Europe, EMEA and cross‑functional stakeholders, supporting annual strategic reviews with market insights, risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, Health Informatics or a related discipline.
  • Experience within hospital automation/pharmacy environment or in commercial, marketing or customer engagement roles.
  • Strong analytical capability and ability to interpret market and customer insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and prioritisation skills, managing competing priorities and clarifying complex situations.
  • Clear and structured communicator, translating technical and clinical information into compelling, customer‑focused value propositions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a matrix organisation with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Service, Clinical, Supply Chain, Regulatory/MLR, Regional Marketing).
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM), MS Office and project/program management tools.
  • Strong customer focus with a collaborative and resilient mindset across geographies and functions.

Salary and Benefits

Salary range for the role: £38,000 – £48,000 plus bonus and benefits.

Primary Work Location: GBR Winnersh – Eskdale Road.
