We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join a collaborative team focused on ensuring the safety and performance of medical devices. The role involves hands-on testing, accurate data recording, and continuous improvement of laboratory processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform product testing in line with established procedures, protocols, and timelines.
  • Record test results clearly and accurately in both physical and digital formats.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration is up to date.
  • Report any irregularities in test results or equipment performance promptly.
  • Support the development of new test methods and equipment.
  • Contribute to investigations, prototype evaluations, and exploratory testing.
  • Assist with laboratory upkeep and administrative tasks.
  • Provide input and support during internal and external audits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Biological or Engineering Sciences, or equivalent laboratory experience.
  • Comfortable interpreting technical documentation and following detailed procedures.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and remain focused during repetitive tasks.
  • Experience with data analysis and a good level of numeracy.

Salary: £27,600.00 – £42,075.00 GBP Annual
