Supplier Quality Assurance Technician – Plymouth, UK. Reporting to the Supplier Quality Assurance Leader, the role manages daily quality‑related activities for incoming materials, coordinates non‑conforming product decisions, and collaborates across cross‑functional teams to improve supplier performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform raw material incoming inspections in accordance with specifications/drawings.
- Raise Quality Notifications for rejected material and follow up with vendors or internal teams on root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain on inventory requirements and support regular SAP and Flex Net reconciliations.
- Collect data for trial materials related to site‑wide raw material projects.
- Conduct raw material stock counts to ensure departmental accuracy.
- Publish SQA quality results weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
- Provide quality support for internal audits and CAPAs.
- Assist the SQA Leader and Supplier Quality Engineer with internal change controls, test method validations, and engineering change requests.
- Conduct monthly 5S reports and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Comply with onsite H&S and GMP requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience as a QC Technician within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of inspection, measuring, and test equipment control.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Excellent organisational abilities with capacity to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
- Aptitude for data analysis, trending, and reporting.
