As the Technical Operator (night shift), you will set up and operate high-speed packaging equipment to produce quality products according to customer specifications and regulatory requirements. Ensure safe working practices throughout all areas of production. The working hours are 11pm-11am and the shift is accompanied by an impressive 37% shift premium on top of your basic salary!
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate high-speed packaging lines, ensuring good product quality and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with equipment or processes, taking appropriate action to minimise downtime.
- Monitor product quality and adjust as needed to meet required standards.
- Ensure all machinery is properly maintained and serviced regularly.
- Collaborate with other operators and technicians to optimise line performance and address any challenges encountered.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times, promoting a safe working environment for everyone on the shop floor.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting improvements to increase efficiency or reduce waste.
- Comply with all relevant regulations and procedures related to food safety and hygiene.
- Work effectively within a team environment, contributing to overall operational success.
Preferred Requirements:
- Previous experience operating high-speed packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety regulations.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques for packaging equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high product quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Salary range for the role: £29,000 to £30,700.
