The Production Technician role is responsible for all technical and processing activities including running machinery, equipment maintenance, and fault finding. The working hours are 11pm-11am and the shift is accompanied by an impressive 37% shift premium on top of your basic salary!

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Operational responsibilities include covering breaks, operating production machinery, assembling product and pallet release duties.
  • Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and refurbishing offline machinery.
  • Attending to electro-mechanical faults, diagnosing and repairing.
  • Ensuring all manufacturing equipment is set up and produces product according to standards.
  • Monitoring in-process quality, addressing issues as needed to prevent product holds.
  • Ensuring the minimisation of downtime within planned costs for repair and spares.

About you:

  • Qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (e.g: C&G, HND) or a time served apprenticeship.
  • Experience in a high volume, highly automated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in maintenance and fault finding.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player who is passionate about healthcare.
