You will work closely with colleagues across service and project teams while taking ownership of technical issues and helping customers maximise the performance of their systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, commission and maintain BD Dispensing systems in line with project plans and quality standards.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and software faults both remotely and on customer sites.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and complete service repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
- Deliver customer training and provide technical guidance to support the effective use of installed systems.
- Maintain accurate service records, technical documentation, expenses and other required reports.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.
- Follow health and safety requirements, company policies and quality standards during all service activities.
- Participate in an on-call rota and travel when required to support installations, customer needs and training activities.
Preferred Requirements:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification.
- Previous experience in a field service or engineering role involving electro-mechanical equipment.
- Strong fault-finding, repair, installation and preventative maintenance skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage priorities and work independently.
