As Territory Manager for Interventional Oncology, you will drive growth of the Pleural and Peritoneal Access portfolio, including PleurXâ„¢ and PeritXâ„¢, by working closely with clinical and commercial contacts across hospital and community care. The position suits a senior sales professional who values autonomy, enjoys complex healthcare environments, and is motivated by improving patient access to proven solutions. This field-based role offers full ownership of a strategically important territory across South West England and Wales, covering Worcester, Cornwall and Portsmouth.
Responsibilities:
- Full commercial accountability for territory performance, treating the area as a standalone business.
- Clear, data-led territory plans aligned with national and regional direction.
- Consistent achievement of quarterly and annual sales goals across NHS accounts.
- Long-term professional relationships with clinical, procurement, finance and operational teams.
- Oversight of product evaluations, trials and adoption processes, including training and support.
- Growth opportunities identified through value-based conversations and care pathway improvements.
- Close collaboration with clinical specialists, marketing partners and sales leadership.
- Accurate forecasting, pipeline control and disciplined CRM use.
Preferred Requirements:
- Solid track record in healthcare sales, with at least five years gained in the NHS, MedTech or medical devices.
- Strong knowledge of NHS structures, purchasing routes and commercial negotiations.
- Confidence navigating extended decision processes and multiple decision-makers.
- Evidence of effective territory planning, prioritisation and revenue forecasting.
- Self-directed, resilient approach, with comfort working independently in the field.
- Flexibility to travel extensively and spend most working time with customers, including occasional evenings or weekends.
