This role sits within a strategic growth area focused on medication safety and automation. As a Clinical Data Insights Analyst, you will use clinical, operational, and quality data to build statistical models and deliver insights that support better decision-making and improvement planning for healthcare customers. You will also play a key role in enhancing how automation solutions are used, ensuring customers realise value from their systems and identify opportunities for further optimisation. The position involves close collaboration with internal teams and healthcare professionals, alongside significant travel across the UK and Ireland (approximately 30%), including occasional overnight stays for meetings, training, and conferences. Your ideal location for this role would be within the Midlands region, including the Birmingham corridor, to support efficient travel and customer engagement across the UK.

With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver tailored data insights that translate clinical and quality information into clear, actionable recommendations for customers.
  • Build and apply statistical and predictive models to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Apply clinical data expertise to evaluate quality outcomes and measure the impact of improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute analytical input to cross‑functional initiatives supporting service and process improvement.
  • Support the design, development, and testing of business intelligence reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Engage in collaborative working groups to define data processing and visualisation requirements with internal teams and external partners.
  • Partner with commercial and technical teams, including Sales, Marketing, Research and Development, Implementation, and Support, to support evidence generation, lifecycle data collection, and ROI analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer value through data‑led insights that support retention and growth.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Clinical Informatics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Statistical Modelling, or Predictive Analytics.
  • Strong experience working with Microsoft BI tools in a professional environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of database structures, data models, and reporting tools used to generate insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across different levels of an organisation.
  • Proactive, organised, and resilient approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, holding a valid driving licence.

Benefits and Compensation
