Reporting to the Senior Quality System Coordinator or the Quality Leaders for each business team department. Responsible for the maintenance and control of the Quality Document Management System (SAP ECC6), and all matters related to documentation within the quality system. Processing of internal customer requests, in relation to document creation, management, distribution and filing. In our Quality team, we collaborate on a large scale, focusing on making sure everything is correct, effective and efficient to bring the highest-quality and most competitive products and services to our customers and their patients. As Quality Systems Coordinator you will support the smooth operation of the Quality Document Management System and ensure that documentation across the Plymouth site meets regulatory, system and format standards. It involves daily collaboration with local teams and global counterparts to manage document creation, changes and approvals within SAP ECC6. The position also acts as a central point of contact for system improvements, document structure updates and change control activities that keep our quality system accurate and compliant.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the full lifecycle of quality documents within SAP ECC6, including creation, updates, formatting and release
  • Coordinating the review and approval process for Engineering Change Order packages
  • Supporting internal teams with document-related queries, training needs and system navigation
  • Maintaining Device Master Specifications and documentation packs for the Plymouth site
  • Preparing and updating templates, databases, spreadsheets and approval lists
  • Liaising with project teams when document changes have operational impact
  • Ensuring all document activities meet regulatory requirements, including 21 CFR Part 11
  • Administering EDOCs user listings, troubleshooting issues and keeping data accurate

Qualifications

  • Skilled in organisation and administration with strong attention to detail
  • Confident using SAP ECC6 and Microsoft Office, particularly Word
  • Comfortable working with technical documentation and structured digital systems
  • Clear communicator with the ability to offer guidance to colleagues
  • Able to work accurately with data and maintain consistent record quality
  • Qualified in typing or word processing, with GCSE-level numeracy and literacy or equivalent
