We are seeking a technically skilled Test Engineer to join our dynamic Agile teams, where you will design and automate test cases, collaborate with developers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
- Developing a deep understanding of the product and system under test.
- Designing, writing, and maintaining automated and manual test cases.
- Executing test plans including scripted, exploratory, regression, and integration testing.
- Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
- Participating actively in Agile processes like sprint planning and reviews to ensure quality integration.
- Evaluating test results, documenting defects, and reporting status to the team.
Skills and Experience:
Essential
- Minimum three years’ experience working as a tester.
- Demonstrable ability to write efficient and effective manual tests.
- A strong interest in the technical side of information technology and software development.
- Working knowledge of Ubuntu or other Linux distributions.
- Use of defect tracking tools (Jira, Xray).
- Good understanding of API testing.
- Basic networking knowledge.
- Basic understanding of Windows infrastructure such as Active Directory, Certificate Services.
- Comfortable using command line tools.
- Debug/troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
- STEM degree or similar equivalent qualifications.
Desirable
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of web security.
- Basic understanding of API automation using Python.
