Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly editorial planning by using audience insights and performance data to recommend timely, evergreen, campaign, and franchise-related content ideas.
- Create, update, and optimise editorial content, including features, news articles, quizzes, profile pages, and other programmed website areas.
- Develop new content ideas and formats informed by cultural trends, digital trends, audience behaviour, and previous content performance.
- Write engaging, accurate, and brand-appropriate editorial copy for audiences with varying levels of familiarity with the brand or franchise.
- Build, edit, and publish content in the CMS, ensuring all materials are accurate, complete, compliant, and published on schedule.
- Coordinate content approvals with internal stakeholders, external partners, and Legal as needed.
- Source approved images and video assets from designated content libraries.
- Maintain accurate content records in Airtable or equivalent planning and workflow tools.
- Monitor content performance and share insights to support future planning.
- Collaborate with Social, CRM, and Marketing teams to align plans and support amplification.
- Occasionally support live event coverage, interviews, or timely editorial updates under manager guidance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least three years of relevant editorial, digital publishing, content production, or comparable experience is required.
- Excellent writing, editing, copywriting, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and format for different audiences.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work tactfully with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced digital publishing environment.
- Sound judgement when handling confidential or sensitive material.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Airtable or equivalent workflow tools, and content management systems.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications is preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital editorial best practices, content performance, audience insights, and cross-platform amplification.
- Deep familiarity with entertainment, fandom, franchise storytelling, or comparable consumer-facing content is required.
