Senior UI Designer – Permanent – Edtech – £70K + benefits

We’re working with a leading global online learning platform who are based in central London and are reinventing education through a combination of real teachers and AI language learning technology driving personalization, real-time feedback, and cutting edge digital features. They\’re a passionate creative team launching some of the most exciting AI and Human led language learning solutions available today.

They\’re looking for a Senior UI Designer with at least 5 years experience and an extremely high level of proficiency in design tools and methodologies including but not limited to Figma, wireframing, workflow diagramming, and prototyping to come on board and lead the digital design and website builds.

You’ll shape the future of their websites, ecommerce flow and digital design language to drive engagement and improve ecommerce conversion through user centric design combined with their design philosophy, all with a mobile-first mindset. You\’ll have CMS site-building experience, design and publishing content and pages within a CMS (Storyblok) Ideally in Ecommerce.

As a Senior UI Designer

• You will lead UI design and development for website across mobile and desktop to drive engagement, signups and ecommerce growth.

• Utilize a diverse array of design techniques from concepts and wireframes, to designs and prototypes all in Figma. • Build and maintain the website using their CMS platform Storyblok, ensuring accuracy, consistency and quality across all web touchpoints.

• Champion a user-centric approach to UI design using qualitative research and quantitative data from our user research teams to guide design decisions and iterations.

• Evolve the digital design system, UI components and graphics to elevate and unify all their brands digital touchpoints.

• Collaborate across teams and functions from creative and copy to tech and product.

• Present concepts, rationale and outcomes to senior leadership.

Mobile first designs will be your bread and butter, you\’ll need to understand user flows, design psychology and an ability to wireframe and design solutions that drive engagement and ecommerce growth and have a proven track record designing for A/B tests.

It would be great if you have experience with design systems and scaling design across large sites for multiple languages. You\’ll need to organised & detail-obsessed, with strong prioritisation across multiple streams, be able own concept-to-completion, beproactive at problem-solving and have high accountability. Able to collaborate & feedback, capable giving/receiving notes and iterating quickly.

Reporting into the Creative Director you\’ll be a key player in a really vibrant team based in very cool offices in central London. They work at the studio 4 days a week and have some great office perks inc a free gym equiped with state-of-the-art cardio machines, free weights, Peloton bikes, and a yoga & pilates studio. Plus there\’s opportunities to bring in your dog on certain days !!
