The Business Development Manager New Products EMEA is accountable for accelerating the commercial success of newly launched and priority products across the region. This role owns the end-to-end business development cycle for NPIs—from market readiness and early adopter activation to pipeline build, conversion, and scale-up. The position acts as the growth engine between Product, Sales, Marketing, Applications, and Service to ensure new products transition rapidly from launch to material revenue contribution. The position reports to the GM Commercial Growth EMEA.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To:
- NPI Commercial Strategy & Pipeline Management: Drive regional business development for new products, translate launch goals into actionable country plans with clear targets, and build/accelerate a robust NPI pipeline.
- Early Adopter & Lighthouse Account Activation: Identify, secure, and successfully convert initial early adopter and reference accounts to ensure visible and scalable first wins.
- Cross-Functional Launch Orchestration: Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Applications, Service, Supply Chain) to ensure comprehensive readiness, training, and smooth go-live execution for product launches.
- Sales Force Empowerment & Deal Support: Collaborate with Marketing to equip country sales teams with essential tools, value propositions, and support for priority NPI deals to enhance win rates.
- Market Feedback Integration & Scalable Execution: Capture structured market feedback to influence product roadmap, pricing, and go-to-market strategies, and then drive the transition from pilot wins to repeatable, scalable adoption across countries.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related scientific or technical field experience.
- 8+ years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or product commercialization.
- Proven track record of launching and scaling new products in diagnostics, medtech, or life sciences.
- Fluency in English is required; additional EMEA languages are a plus.
- Must be able to travel within the EMEA region.
