Class 1 Driver - up to £20.52 Beckley Recruitment Services Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a well established and well-known client in Coleshill.
Start times available to suit your needs between 05:00 to 08:00.
ONGOING work Monday to Friday we can also offer adhoc shifts to suit you.
Class 1 Driver Pay rates below: Monday to Friday - £18 (£20.52 if you opt for holiday included)
£25 per night out
If you opt for holiday included in the payrate, you will receive your FULL holiday pay within your hourly rate based on a calculation of 12.07% of the payrate.
We do NOT use any umbrella or outsourced payroll services.
Our client is extremely busy all year round and can offer ongoing work.
Temp to Perms are also available.
The work will consist of
- Multidrop experience essential, can be 5-8 deliveries per day (Curtaisided trailers)
- Driving assessment required & training given prior to shift start.
- Knowledge of how to use android hand held tablets, as the client uses an app for the deliveries, backed up with a paper manifest.
- Over 25 and 2 years experience, but we have discretion for less if the driver has some experience and has a clean licence, no accidents, or health issues.
- Deliveries to building sites, loads are not handball, either FLT or telehandlers will be on site to offload.
- The fleet is 1-3 years old, trucks fitted with microwaves & fridges, leaver seats & aircon. Use of SNAP parking sites so no expenses needed
- Typical week would be 50-55 hours
