Beckfoot Thornton is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual who is passionate about making a real difference to young people's lives. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, safety, and inclusion of our students. Working closely with staff, families and external agencies, you will support in creating a school environment where all students feel supported, understood and able to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Is committed to improving the lives of young people, especially those with barriers to their learning.
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Works well in a team and is confident in working independently when needed.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, resilience and commitment to inclusion.
  • Supports in creating a school environment where all students feel supported, understood and able to succeed.

This is a permanent, full time contract, where you will be working 37 hours per week, Term Time Only (+5 days). Working pattern - Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4.00pm, Friday, 8.00am - 3.30pm.
