Due to internal progression, we are now looking for a Despatch Line Leader to join our team and play a key role in our despatch operations.
The Role
Working in a chilled environment, you will lead a small team to ensure the smooth, accurate, and efficient running of the despatch line. You’ll be responsible for meeting operational targets while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and health & safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the despatch team to achieve daily targets
- Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and despatched accurately and on time
- Maintain full paperwork and compliance standards
- Monitor and deliver against KPIs and labour plans
- Quickly identify and report any issues or errors
- Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations
- Drive continuous improvement across the line
About You
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading from the front.
Essential:
- Experience working on a production or despatch line
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience managing or supervising a small team
Desirable:
- Food Safety Level 2
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

- Excellent communication and interpersonal ability
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
