Becketts Foods is a leading food processing company, operating in the CV2 area of Coventry since 1983. We are now recruiting additional colleagues to join our team and are proud to offer staff stability and a long-term future working for a thriving business. Due to internal promotion, Becketts Foods are recruiting a line leader for our despatch department. The role is working in a chilled environment, you will ensure accurate and efficient line performance through the team, with compliance to both food safety and Health & Safety.
Responsibilities:
- Paperwork compliance
- Ensuring all orders are picked, packed and despatched accurately and on time
- Meet KPI targets
- Adhere to labour plan
- Reporting of all issues/errors quickly and efficiently
- Health and Safety compliance
- Food safety compliance
Knowledge and Experience required:
- Knowledge of a production line is essential
- Food Safety Level 2 desirable
- Experience of managing a small team
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures
- An understanding of Microsoft packages, including Excel
