Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sliding Head Programmer/Setter/Operator based at our Kingswinford facility. The role involves programming, setting, and operating sliding head machines to produce high-quality precision components. Responsibilities include reviewing technical drawings, ensuring compliance with specifications, performing machine setups, conducting quality checks, and maintaining equipment to achieve optimal performance and output efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming and operating sliding head lathes
- Strong knowledge of software development, computer science principles, and back-end systems
- Skills in programming languages and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Experience in optimizing machine performance and troubleshooting production issues
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards
- Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Good team collaboration skills with respect for diversity, integrity, and accountability
