Purpose of role
To work alongside our Electrical and Mechanical installation teams, assisting with all aspects of Electrical installation. This includes but is not limited to match marking, isolations, reconnections, re-energisation, and installation of machinery. Ability to follow instructions from Beck & Pollitzer supervisors, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and effectively in accordance with scheduling and Health and Safety requirements.

Main responsibilities
- This is a site-based role that requires regular travel and periods of working away from home.
- Match marking as part of removal and reinstallation of Electrical equipment.
- Ability to read and understand Electrical Drawings.
- Undertake fault finding where required.
- Assisting electrically with the assembly, dismantling of machine tools, conveyor systems, mechanical handling equipment, and process/production line equipment.
- Carry out installation of cable tray, trunking to layout drawings.
- Pulling in and removal of new and existing cables.
- Work as part of a team assisting other trades.
- Collate and copy all daily paperwork such as disconnection sheets and protocols.

Experience, knowledge and qualifications required
- Must be able to carry out Electrical installation and work in accordance with the National Working Rules for the Electrical Contracting Industry.
- Successfully completed a registered apprenticeship in the relevant occupational discipline, or undergone some equivalent method of training and had practical training in electrical installation work.
- Have required exposure to Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services (including performance assessments).
- Obtained Level 3 NVQ diploma in Installing Electrotechnical systems and equipment or the Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification.
- Apprentice standard (or approved equivalent), plus the industry assessment of occupational competence (AM2).
- Completed the JIB Mature Candidate Assessment including AM2.
- Industrial/Commercial experience.
- CSCS Card.
- Electrical Testing experience.
- Ability to read Mechanical/Electrical layout drawings.
- Excellent Health & Safety knowledge and Standards.
