This is a site-based role that requires regular travel and periods of working away from home.

  • Assisting with all aspects of Electrical installation.
  • Match marking as part of removal and reinstallation of Electrical equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand Electrical Drawings.
  • Assisting Electrically with the assembly and dismantling of machine tools, conveyor systems, mechanical handling equipment, and process/production line equipment.
  • Carry out installation of cable tray and trunking to layout drawings.
  • Pulling in and removal of new and existing cables.
  • Must be able to carry out Electrical installation and work in accordance with the National Working Rules for the Electrical Contracting Industry.
  • Successfully completed a registered apprenticeship in the relevant occupational discipline or undergone some equivalent method of training and had practical training in electrical installation work.
  • Have required exposure to Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services (including performance assessments).
  • Obtained Level 3 NVQ diploma in Installing Electrotechnical systems and equipment or the Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification.
  • Completed the JIB Mature Candidate Assessment including AM2.
  • Industrial/Commercial experience.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Electrical Testing experience.
  • Ability to read Mechanical/Electrical layout drawings.
  • Very flexible approach to work (essential).
  • Ability to travel and work away from home.
