This is a site-based role that requires regular travel and periods of working away from home.
- Assisting with all aspects of Electrical installation.
- Match marking as part of removal and reinstallation of Electrical equipment.
- Ability to read and understand Electrical Drawings.
- Assisting Electrically with the assembly and dismantling of machine tools, conveyor systems, mechanical handling equipment, and process/production line equipment.
- Carry out installation of cable tray and trunking to layout drawings.
- Pulling in and removal of new and existing cables.
- Must be able to carry out Electrical installation and work in accordance with the National Working Rules for the Electrical Contracting Industry.
- Successfully completed a registered apprenticeship in the relevant occupational discipline or undergone some equivalent method of training and had practical training in electrical installation work.
- Have required exposure to Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services (including performance assessments).
- Obtained Level 3 NVQ diploma in Installing Electrotechnical systems and equipment or the Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification.
- Completed the JIB Mature Candidate Assessment including AM2.
- Industrial/Commercial experience.
- CSCS Card.
- Electrical Testing experience.
- Ability to read Mechanical/Electrical layout drawings.
- Very flexible approach to work (essential).
- Ability to travel and work away from home.
