Account Executive Public Sector (Entry level)
Northampton (Hybrid)
Primary focus: Education, Not for Profit
Up to Β£25K + Comms (Β£30-32K OTE)
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for finding and maintaining the relationship with key customers and ensuring their technology requirements are met. Our Account Executives are the face of Bechtle, the people our customers go to for advice and guidance and consistently deliver excellent levels of service.
Job Role Responsibilities
- 90/10, New business / account development β grow and keep what you onboard
- Achieve or exceed sales targets as discussed with manager
- Proactively develop sales opportunities and understand customer requirements
- Win new business supported by Public Sector bid team
- Grow and develop existing account base
- Collaborate with pre-sales team to lead the Bechtle messaging and offerings with customers
- Develop understanding of key contacts and structure of your account base
- Manage customer / supplier / distribution relationships (manage your network)
- Be responsible for pipeline
- Be at the forefront of technology developments and discuss this with public sector customer
- Potential progression to larger customers/accounts
Job Requirement
You must be self-motivated and hard working with a minimum of good GCSE's or equivalent in English and Maths and ideally, but not essentially, good A-Levels. You will be extremely efficient and well organized whilst paying attention to detail. A positive attitude, upbeat and helpful persona is key to this role. It is essential you can take direction but use your own initiative when required and be enthusiastic and self-motivated. MS Word and MS Excel would be useful but not essential. The company is very team-orientated, so it is essential that you are a team player with a 'can do' attitude.
