In this role, you will work with the project team to prepare schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations. You will apply established unit job hour and pricing data, perform schedule integrations, prepare work logic, identify restraints and potential impacts, develop recovery plans, and evaluate subcontractor schedules for improvements. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects stay on track and on time.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Reviews design scope criteria and develops quantities for undefined scope assumptions in coordination with other stakeholders/departments.
  • Participates in establishing pricing structures to be applied to quantities for estimates.
  • Conducts detail pricing for non-manual labour service using functional staffing and other direct cost (ODC) inputs.
  • Develops pricing/rates to apply to non-manual staffing in support of project-specific requirements.
  • Prepares estimate basis and assumption documentation for their area of responsibility in support of overall estimate development.
  • Supports complex order of magnitude (OOM) estimates.
  • Prepares cost studies, trend estimates, and life-cycle cost estimates in specialized areas or in specialized discipline area.
  • Identifies risk items and assigns risk levels to portions of the project work and identifies measures to mitigate risk in area of responsibility.
  • Interfaces with designated management personnel on specific sections of estimate presentations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Proficient user of Primavera.
  • Nuclear experience.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • Sellafield experience.
  • Experience of business case preparation and presentation.
