Be part of a major aviation project in the Greater London area. The project will redefine the future of air travel and delivery excellence, delivering complex, high-impact work at the core of one of the region’s fastest‑moving developments.
In this role you will lead a team and supervise superintendents and craft professionals on a project. You will direct craft professional activities and work schedules, coordinate subcontract work activities and team development, and ensure compliance with project policies, procedures, and job‑site rules. This position is part‑time telework per our global telework policy, requiring at least three days of in‑person attendance per week.
Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for traffic planning, modelling and DCO‑compliant logistics documentation.
- Lead traffic planning and modelling activities.
- Develop Construction Traffic Management and Workforce Travel Plans.
- Lead engagement with local authorities and highways bodies.
- Support logistics governance and compliance with DCO requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors and internal teams on execution planning.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and relevant work experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in traffic, transport or logistics roles.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Senior construction traffic, transport or logistics experience on large civil infrastructure projects of £50m+ value.
- Senior level experience managing relationships with local authorities on behalf of a construction project or contractor.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer literate; proficient with web‑based systems, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience in transport planning and legislation.
- Experience in worker travel planning.
- Experience with traffic management schemes and consenting.
