Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and coordinate conceptual and detailed phases of engineering work in accordance with company, contract, and industry codes and standard.
  • Apply engineering principles for the analysis and design of structures, systems, and components. Influence the outcome of technical issue resolution within the discipline/function, as well as with third parties (customer, suppliers, and regulators).
  • Perform work that involves conventional engineering practice but may include complex features such as resolving conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials and/or difficult coordination requirements.
  • Have extensive technical knowledge of engineering systems, engineering calculations, applications of engineering methods and materials, and applications of 2-D and 3-D computer aided design (CAD) and computer aided engineering (CAE) to resolve engineering problems. Ensure the design is cost effective, in accordance with applicable safety, health, environmental regulations, customer requirements and engineering codes & standards.
