Beccles Fenland Charity Trust is looking for a Ranger to help us manage and maintain the outdoor spaces that we own, including Beccles Common, the Quay and the Marsh Trail. The role involves being the ‘eyes and ears’ of the Trust, monitoring our green spaces and carrying out repairs. This is a job-share role, working alongside our existing, part-time Ranger. We are looking for someone to work three days per week, including Thursdays and Fridays.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and maintaining outdoor spaces owned by the Trust (Beccles Common, the Quay, the Marsh Trail).
- Act as the eyes and ears of the Trust by monitoring green spaces and carrying out repairs as needed.
- Work as part of a team and also independently to carry out duties.
Qualifications / Experience
- Experience of maintaining land.
- Love of nature.
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
