Pay up to £22.19ph or £45k per annum based on all the criteria mentioned below. We are seeking to employ a qualified time-served highly skilled and experienced CNC Miller to join our clients team. Candidate needs to have a sound knowledge, strong attention to detail and experience of CNC milling machines with a minimum 3 years experience programming 3, 4 & 5 axis Fanuc control systems online or offline using OneCNC & Edgecam software. The successful candidate will perform appropriate duties as assigned by management, be encouraged to apply your knowledge and learn new skills. Working with minimal supervision and as part of a small team is essential following established safety rules and regulations in our friendly work environment. Our clients established customer base has indicated that there will be further increased demand through 2026 giving the opportunity for training and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming of CNC milling machines (Haas & Matsuura) both online and offline using OneCNC & Edgecam programming software or directly from technical drawings.
  • Set up CNC milling machines for a variety of jobs, ensuring optimal machine performance.
  • Operate CNC milling machines, ensuring smooth production and adherence.
  • Be familiar with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards to ensure accuracy of components to reduce scrap or reworking of manufactured components.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of cutting tools, tool wear, and tool selection to optimize production processes.
  • You would be expected to have your toolbox with various tools and measuring equipment indicative to carry out your expected role.

Teamwork & Communication:

  • Collaborate with team members to address production challenges and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with everyone informing line managers of progress and potential issues.
