Steel fabricator/plater required for a 4 day week! Day shift and night shift available. £18.12 for day shift. Hours are 7am to 4.45pm, Monday to Thursday. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are all overtime days, with all overtime paid at an enhanced rate. Double time for Sundays.

I require a number of Steel fabricators/platers for a thriving company based in Bury, Greater Manchester. My client has won awards for their work and is highly regarded worldwide. This is an opportunity to work on some of the biggest and best projects, enhancing your skills and taking pride in working on multi-million pound projects.

As a Steel fabricator/plater, you will be working on complex fabrications, with structures and plate thicknesses that you may never have fabricated before. You will be working from engineers' drawings and have the chance to learn total station.

These are permanent long-term positions. It is exciting and rewarding work. If you are a time-served Steel fabricator/plater, apprentice trained or NVQ 3, please apply.

Steel fabricators/platers must be competent and confident in working from technical drawings, setting jobs up, marking out for jigs, and using hand tools and burning equipment. You should be comfortable working on your own or as part of a team. These positions require adherence to all health and safety practices at all times, and correct PPE must be worn at all times.
