Skilled structural steel Mig welders required for days and nights. My client is one of the biggest producers of structural steel throughout Europe, with facilities in the UK, India, and Singapore. They deal in many sectors including Nuclear, Energy, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, and Retail.
After securing more work and having a very healthy order book, they now wish to employ more structural steel welders. Heavy plate experience and structural steel welding preferred.
- Requirements:
- Flux core welding an advantage.
- Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 preferred.
- Excellent ability with MIG welding process.
- Must be able to put down fillet and multi-run fillets.
- Ability to weld butts to a high standard. Welds will be subject to NDT.
- Work on your own or as part of a team.
- Adhere to all company health and safety procedures.
- Wear the appropriate PPE at all times.
- Punctual.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From £16.38 per hour
Hours: Mon to Thursday 7am to 4.45pm. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are all overtime days.
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Company pension.
Schedule: 10 hour shift, 12 hour shift, 8 hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Thursday, Night shift, Overtime.
MIG welding: 4 years (preferred), Flux core experience.
