We are looking for a Junior Quality Engineer to work for a large engineering company based in Dukinfield.
Salary is £30-32,000 per annum plus 25 days' holiday and bank holidays, company bonus, pension, healthcare etc.
Duties for the Junior Quality Engineer role
Working alongside experienced Quality Engineers, you will provide support across a range of quality activities to ensure products meet the required specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities for the Junior Quality Engineer
- Support the Quality Engineering team with day-to-day quality activities.
- Assist with product inspections and ensuring products meet specification requirements.
- Help maintain calibration records and quality documentation.
- Support the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Assist with general quality department administration.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Junior Quality Engineer (salary role, £30k to £32k - increasing after probation)
- Must be committed to working safely and comply with the 5S standards in place.
- Minimum 3 years' work experience required and must be within a manufacturing environment (preferably within a quality team)
- Ideal candidate will have an understanding of manufacturing quality functions (product conformance / calibration / specifications)
• Key process knowledge
- Manufacturing principles from material to finished products
- Aerospace / defence high standards of work
- An understanding of a QMS / IMS
- General office / department administration
- This role is an entry level role with a view to moving up to a QE role. The candidate will be required to support other QE's carrying out a range of department tasks
