Job Description:
As a QA Tester, you will be part of our Engineering team, reporting to the QA Manager. Your responsibilities include writing, maintaining, and executing test cases, documenting test results, managing bug reports, and performing functional and system testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and write test cases based on requirements
- Perform manual testing
- Document and communicate findings
- Verify defects and fixes
- Ensure high quality of software and documentation
- Collaborate with Development and Test teams
- Promote the value of testing within the company
Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of the software lifecycle related to testing
- Experience with defect tracking and test management software
- Web and cross-browser testing experience
- Experience with Windows OS and testing APIs (highly advantageous)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM/Kanban methodologies
Personal Attributes:
- Ability to learn and follow test procedures
- Quick learner, able to work under pressure and deadlines
