As a Housing Depot Operative, your main responsibility will be to remove and dispose of bulky waste, including fly-tipped items, rubble, garden waste and supermarket trolleys. You will also be responsible for cleaning communal bins, using the pedestrian sweeper to clean large communal areas and washing communal windows using specialist long-reach equipment.
Your typical daily tasks may include:
- Removal of graffiti with jet washing machine
- Cleaning communal areas such as balconies, panels and pathways
- Reporting issues such as cleaning demands to local management teams
