We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in York.
- Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with mixed animal caseloads, including dairy, beef and sheep work.
- A minimum of three years\' experience is required due to the demands of this role. Candidates must also live within 25 minutes of the surgery.
About The Role:
This Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon position will be based at an independent practice in North Yorkshire. The successful applicant will spend around 90-95% of their time on farm-based duties during the day, including work with alpacas and llamas as well as some equine involvement focused on vaccination and lameness.
Job Details
- The role includes occasional pig work which comes with training available for quarterly welfare assurance duties.
- Clinics run Saturday mornings from 9 am -1 pm mainly conducting boosters without surgeries involved.
The rota operates over twelve weeks alternating every week across weekends ensuring consistency throughout your contract term period . During one weekend you\'ll first call; another second while weeknight responsibilities fall under four each month then there’s no lack here coming towards workplace stress since they really care about us!
