We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the technical aspects of projects within our region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the design process and ensuring compliance with all necessary legislation, standards, and company policies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills and experience working in a technical role at a residential house builder or contractor. Strong IT literacy, with experience using AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel & Word, is also required.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the design process, including management of consultants and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with consultants, statutory authorities, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs on time and quality standards.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental, and Technical matters.
- Good working knowledge of Highways & Drainage, Building Regulations, NHBC Standards, Planning, and Affordable Housing.
- Proven ability in a Technical Coordinator/Manager role, delivering designs on time, quality standards.
This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of industry regulations and standards, as well as experience working with design software and tools.
