We are seeking a highly skilled Peatland Restoration Specialist to join our team.
As a key member of the National Peatland Action Programme (NPAP), you will play a vital role in restoring Wales' wildest landscapes. You will be responsible for leading and co-ordinating specialist technical advice, ensuring that decisions are based on sound technical judgement, in line with current legislation and best practice.
You will work with other project team members, NRW staff and external stakeholders to plan and develop detailed programmes of site restoration. This includes assessing technical requirements for wide-ranging restoration projects and producing specifications for contractors to follow.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking field-based supervision of contractors
- Ensuring liaison with landowners/occupiers, NRW staff and partners' staff
