We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Waste and Recycling Driver. As part of our dedicated waste management service, you will be responsible for collecting waste and recycling from businesses across Greater Manchester, including Liverpool.
The role involves operating commercial vehicles (up to 7.5 tonne or Class 2) in a multi-drop environment, with frequent collection of bagged waste from offices, swapping over 240 litre bins, or driving a bin truck and lifting 1,100 litre bins. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute towards sustainable resource management by promoting environmentally friendly practices within the community.
To succeed in this position, you must have:
- Experience driving commercial vehicles (up to 7.5 tonne or Class 2)
- Capability of lifting up to 25kg safely without assistance
- Willingness to undertake security vetting due to the confidential nature of the waste collected
- A good geographic knowledge of the Greater Manchester area
- Ability to manage your own workload efficiently while working effectively under pressure
