Our client is seeking a skilled Cost Manager, with expertise in managing budgets and supervising construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost planning, estimation, and management for various building projects across the UK;
- Negotiating contracts with clients, contractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, etc., on behalf of our client;
- Creating project budgets by forecasting revenues, setting financial objectives and tracking expenses throughout the project lifecycle;
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients through regular communication regarding budget updates as well as any changes or issues affecting the project timeline;
- Data analysis including monitoring costs closely against proposed rates to achieve estimated savings without jeopardising quality.
