The Royal Yachting Association is seeking a skilled psychologist to support the delivery and continued development of psychological provision across the British Sailing Youth Team and English Talent Academies, aligned to the British Sailing Team World Class Programme.
We are looking for someone with expertise in:
- BSc or MSc in Psychology (accredited by the BPS)
- HCPC registration as a Sport & Exercise Psychologist via BPS Stage 2 (QSEP) or BASES SEPAR
- Experience working with 14-20 year old athletes in talent or pathway environments
- Strong understanding of long-term athlete development and positive performance cultures
The ideal candidate will be able to build effective relationships with athletes, coaches and parents. This role involves working alongside the sport science team to support a coherent psychology strategy. Responsibilities include delivering progressive age-appropriate psychology curriculum across all levels of competition, providing individualised support within professional boundaries.
