We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team on a fixed term basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real impact in the procurement field.
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Your analytical skills will be essential in developing strategies and negotiating contracts with suppliers. Manage procurement activities including strategy development, tendering, contract management and supplier relationship management.
Your strong communication skills will enable you to build effective relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally. You will also need to demonstrate commercial acumen by identifying cost savings opportunities and implementing process improvements.
About You: To succeed in this role, you must have at least two years' experience in a similar position within the housing or public sector. A CIPS qualification would be beneficial but not essential. It is expected that you possess excellent analytical skills as well as strong problem-solving abilities. A key aspect of this role is your ability to work independently yet collaborate effectively as part of our team.
