We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Swimming Instructor. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, teaching swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and abilities.
Job Description
- To teach swimming lessons to clients in a safe and professional manner
- To assess client's ability levels and create personalized lesson plans
- To maintain accurate records of client's progress
- To assist with pool maintenance duties where required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 months experience working as a Lifeguard or Swimming Instructor
- Hold current certification for CPR/AED, First Aid, Water Safety Instructors (WSI) and other relevant certifications. All certified training must be kept up-to-date regularly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to perform tasks which involve frequent lifting up to 50 pounds frequently throughout your shift without requiring an assistant.
