About the Job Description
The role of a Lending Support Specialist is a pivotal position within our Mortgage Operations team, requiring an in-depth understanding of our products, processes, and policies. The primary responsibility involves providing high-quality broker-driven mortgage-related services to brokers who require assistance before submission.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to intermediaries via telephone, live chat, or written correspondence.
This entails discussing lending policy, processes, and products; guiding brokers through the mortgage application system/aid submission; developing key relationships with brokers to understand their business issues and priorities; handling administration tasks for new business; dealing with queries on how to structure cases;
Owning issues/resolving them while identifying when it\βs necessary to escalate matters. This support also includes sending out mortgage offers allocating post/email communications along with other projects as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience working in relevant environments/markets. A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service under pressure coupled with strong communication skills (oral/written) are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office alongside flexibility/openness to change/innovation makes this individual suitable for the role.
