We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Telford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in designing complex assemblies and parts, producing technical drawings in a design role, and generating welding documentation for applicable standards and mechanical testing procedures.
About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for designing concept and production 3D-CAD models of various products within the food and clean room sector using SolidWorks. They will also generate detailed production and assembly drawings, undertake hand calculations to support initial design development stages, provide necessary engineering support to the production department, develop documents and test reports, liaise with suppliers/customers throughout the project.
