A leading niche company in Bristol offers an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Senior Production Engineer.
The Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Production Engineer to manage and oversee the design and build of production and assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the design and build of production and assembly, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality products.
- Plan and implement shop-floor layout and process changes, optimizing workflows and improving productivity.
- Collaborate with Maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and adherence to PPM schedules.
- Work with Production, Quality, and other departments to define effective work practices and critical processes.
Requirements: We are looking for a candidate with:
- Experience within Plastic/Automotive or FMCG environment, within assembly.
- Working knowledge of 6 sigma.
- ISO9001 experience.
- Experienced with design of jigs and fixtures using Solidworks.
- Knowledge and experience with manufacturing equipment used for an injection moulding process.
